Tiffany Phipps

Tiffany Phipps is the Owner of Aspen Dev Co, LLC a real-estate developer in Colorado and Arizona.

Tiffany is responsible for sourcing deals, securing capital, directing, and overseeing all development for the company, managing the portfolio of assets, investor relations, and running all daily operations for Aspen Dev Co. After a decade of experience as a real estate developer with over a billion dollars of commercial and residential projects Tiffany has navigated market cycles and a large-scale corporate buy-out. Tiffany served as President of Aspen Starwood, LLC the premier developer in Aspen, Colorado and Tuscany, Italy for more than 5 years before starting Aspen Dev Co, LLC. Prior to her time at Aspen Starwood, Tiffany ran development in New York for BioMed Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT that specializes in R&D space for Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients. After completing over 1.5 million SQFT for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in New York, Tiffany helped transition the business as BioMed Realty was taken private by private equity firm Blackstone. Before her career in real estate development, Tiffany gained boots on the ground experience working at Turner Construction and Layton Construction after graduating from Arizona State University in Business Logistics. With an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from NYU that was achieved while working full time, Tiffany enjoyed 12+ years in New York City before making the move to Aspen, CO. Tiffany serves as a Board Member of not-for-profit YouthZone, YPO Aspen Chapter, YPO Western Regional Board, and many of Aspen commercial and multi-family HOA boards.

MacKenzie Thorn

MacKenzie Landers Thorn is the President of Aspen Dev Co LLC, a real-estate developer in Colorado and Arizona.

MacKenzie is responsible for the company’s daily operations and project development. MacKenzie has developed a variety of asset types, including luxury condominiums in New York City, and national exposure to charter schools, senior, student, and multi-family housing. Most recently MacKenzie ran over $100m in multi-family development for Aspen Starwood in Western Colorado. This included the first modular multi-family developments in Grand Junction, Colorado.

MacKenzie graduated from NYU with a M.S. in Real Estate Development. Upon completion of her master's degree MacKenzie worked for the City of New York in the Department of Design and Construction where she co-managed the construction of the New York Police Academy project in Queens with a $656 million construction budget. She then moved to the private sector, managing luxury residential ground-up and conversion development projects in Manhattan with over a $1 billion sell out value.

MacKenzie’s interest in real estate development started when she worked on the Draper Natural History Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in her hometown of Cody, Wyoming. MacKenzie began her professional career working for Sony Electronics as a financial analyst before pursuing her passion for real estate development. She also holds a BSBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Denver.

Turner Canning

Turner Canning is a Project Manager for Aspen Dev Co, LLC, responsible for in-house developments and PM/Owner’s Rep for clients.

Turner has over 20yrs of real estate experience, primarily in international markets in Asia. Prior to returning to the United States in ’21, Turner founded Único Bienes Raíces Ltda., the former exclusive affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate in Bolivia until its closure in late 2021 due to the ongoing political and Covid crisis. 

Turner was an industry leader in Asia’s commercial real estate sector for 15+ years, building mixed-use developments, over 17 large-scale shopping malls and retail precincts and with firms and investors such as Morgan Stanley, Warburg Pincus, Cushman & Wakefield, and Lendlease, and with luxury brands such as Hermès, Ralph Lauren, and Prada. Turner's Asia career culminated as Head of Commercial Development for LendLease China and subsequently in Singapore, managing the design, development, and leasing of the retail and public realm components of Paya Lebar Quarter, LendLease's pioneering and multiple award-winning mixed-use precinct. 

Turner grew up in Vail, Colorado, and spent his youth ski racing internationally, competing in national youth Rodeo and as a championship goalie in hockey. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in Chinese and Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Turner is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Chinese, and Portuguese.
